SORO
is a new student resource,
established with a generous grant from the President's office
so that it took no student fees. It is a "one-stop
shop" for starting and maintaining a student organization,
getting funding, and planning events.
SORO
was put together through much work by students like you in
UOSA to fix some of the difficulties in having and running
a student organization, as well as teamwork with Center for
Student Life and the Union to compile forms that students
used to have to run all over campus for!
It provides valuable
services and items for checkout such as:
-Resources to start and maintain a Registered
Student Organization,
-High-quality
printing and scanning,
-A/V equipment such as projectors and screens,
-Event consulting and assistance,
-Consolidated source for important forms, funding applications,
and permits,
-Video editing equipment,
